Yep. Sadly no more Chuck until the strike is over. However it was getting pretty favorable noises from the Network, as opposed to the Bionic Woman, which was not.

Last year it would barely have registered with me as I think I watched only three shows (Heroes, 24, BSG). This year I added quite a few new shows I liked (Chuck, Journeyman, Pushing Daisies, Dirty Sexy Money, Big Shots, Carpoolers).

Life. That's the show that's causing me to be annoyed at the writer's strike. I was following Journeyman as well (Chuck has been off and on), but it seems it's been canceled and likely would have been canceled earlier if not for the impending strike.

What I don't get is why they would burn through both when they have the strike going? Why not play the second episode next week? Now are we going to get repeats or more reality crap?

Short answer - because it doesn't matter.

Longer answer - the season is over. The strike has gone on long enough that shows won't be in production again until the summer... if then. It's a better strategy to try and make an "event" out of it than to downplay it by showing it over two weeks. They can increase ratings for the one day rather than have lesser ratings for two weeks. With the way advertising works, the former will yield better results.
