"AMITIEL HAS ARRIVED! Those of fearful hearts, stand strong, do not fear, your God will come with vengeance, divine retribution will come to save you."

As new arrival proclaims he stands up from crouch, last fading outlines of wings spreading behind him before disappearing, he raises both hands toward the flying captain and pulls them downward.
"Earth calls you, creature, heed its call."

[sblock=Actions]
Action: cast Earthbind (concentration)
STR DC 15 save or captains flying speed is reduced to 0 feet for the spell's duration. An airborne creature safely descends at 60 feet per round until it reaches the ground or the spell ends.
tglassy, "the ground" in this case might be bottom of the ocean or surface of the water - your call. It is EARTH bind - and this might be one of few situations where it is more powerful than just grounding the opponent. Also, since you didn't answer if the wings are already active, I let the visual fade. Using standard action at this moment is too much since I didn't start the combat with them I need to make a mark immediately.

Move: toward the most wounded crew member in sight, trying to stay in cover from arrows

OOC: He has a -1, so I’m going to say he fails. Because DMs never fudge the dice.

At first, it appears as if Ametiel’s Spell had no effect. Then, tendrils of electric energy shoot up from the water, wrapping around the flying captain, yanking him towards the bottom of the ocean.

OOC:
2 ships.

Ship 1:
Very damaged. Most crew dead. No captain. Combatants over half dead.

Ship 2:
Almost untouched, and will probably be boarding next round as the ship is only 5 ft from yours.
Everyone is still on their own ships for the time being.

OOC: Bunny, Fulgrim and Tycho are up. Once they go, the baddies will be boarding the ship, unless there's a reason not to. But hey, one captain down, right?
