Upgrade my morningstar!

Hey all,

I play a Cleric lvl 19. He is more of a caster based character than melee.

I currently have for a weapon:
Morning Star (+4/+4)

If i wanted to add an ability (Spell Strike from MIC for example, Price bonus: +1), how much would I need to fork over? Would this make it a +5/+5 weapon? (i hope i'm making sense...sheesh :) )


At this point in the game, i'm getting lost in the calculations. I do have the feat craft magical arms and armour btw...

I'm not sure I understand your terminology since a morningstar is not a double weapon, so your morningstar should be simply a morningstar +4. That'd cost 32300 gp, roughly. To add the +1 Price Bonus ability would turn it into a +5 weapon which would cost 50300 gp, so add in 18000 gp. Weapon price is (bonus squared) times 2. If you had a double weapon, you'd have to pay the price for both sides of the weapon.
