Viridian Plague--Autumn's Enigma [Obscurity]

(OOC: Sure thing--will she move at full speed or try to slow down to make balancing easier? If she slows, the eye might have a chance to zap her or whatever it does)

*Obscurity tries to take the balancing slowly, and despite a lack of training, her natural Dexterity makes it easy to cross the narrow branches at a modest pace. However, the slower pace allows the eye to put on a quick unexpected burst of speed and catch up, pointing directly towards her and firing off a beam of ice. Thankfully, she blinks and avoids the attack. The eye pauses momentarily to collect itself after the missed attack before turning towards her again, so she makes it onto a relatively stable branch on which to plan whether to take the next branch at a faster speed or not.*

(OOC: Note--without 5 ranks in Balance, you are flat-footed while balancing and the attack is a ranged touch attack, so it was basically firing at an easy target, but Blink helped out anyway)

She continues at the same speed, but tries to cast a spell at the eye first. First she tries distracting it with Obscurity's Distraction to see if she can buy herself enough time.

(OOC: Alright then--you won't be able to actually Web the eye itself because you need two or more solid and diametrically-opposed points on which to anchor the web and the pillar with the eye is out there alone in the middle, but you can definitely make a Web between two trees to give yourself cover. Wanna do that?)

*Obscurity throws up a Web, gaining total cover from the eye, which blasts and blasts to no avail, though the mass of webbing is quickly frozen and bedecked with icicles. Meanwhile, Obscurity takes her time and makes it across the branches, though her cover ends soon, and it looks like it's time to leap across to the next platform.*

(OOC: Any tricks for this one, or just a DC 15 Jump check?)

would this work: cast rope trick on a point a few feet out from where she is standing and use the dangling rope to swing across? I dont trust her pitiful Str at the moment (if only she could shift).
