Viridian Plague--Autumn's Enigma [Obscurity]

(OOC: Yep, or she can just use the Arcane Focus for the Rope Trick spell and make a Use Rope check (or several if she fails) to lasso a branch and save on the spell slot :D ;))

*Obscurity uses Rope Trick, causing her Rope to float into the air, and she swings across to the other side. One of the little mirror shards is here on this platform. There is also a long vine leading up to a platform above this one.*

(OOC: It won't be easy to get that rope back, so just leaving it? Grabbing the mirror shard? Continuing upwards?)

Obscurity leaves the rope there, hopefully she can collect it once this trial is all over. She'll grab the mirror shard (there are a few around right?) then start climbing up.

(OOC: There's one shard on this platform, and others on some of the upper platforms. Will she just stick the shard in her bag, put it in a pocket, try to palm it while she climbs, or what? Also, I'm guessing she doesn't try to accelerate climbing? It is DC 5 to climb the vine, or DC 10 accelerated (she can't fall if she doesn't accelerate, but she might if she does. The vine is about fifteen feet)

Obscurity drops the shard in her bag (not much in there right now). Then she looks back to see where the eye is at the moment. If its still a ways a way or blocked by web she'll take her time. If its getting closer, she'll try to boot it.

(OOC: The eye is right behind her, and it isn't blocked anymore. Accelerated might get her up in one move action, while non-accelerated is a double-move to reach the top. Also, the shard might do something, though she hasn't figured out how to use it yet. So sticking the shard in the bag and doing a DC 10 climb?)

(OOC: Alright, here goes!)

*Obscurity gets a firm grip on the vine and manages to make it up with an accelerated climb. Unfortunately, even an accelerated climb is moving at half the usual speed, and the eye rises from inside the pedestal and fires while she climbs, leaving Obscurity flat-footed. This time, Blink isn't on her side, and she feels a chill creeping through her body, but she manages to partially stave it off and reaches the top. There seem to be two ways to progress. One of them involves timing jumps between moving platforms, and the other one walking across a twisting path that seems made of sheer ice.*

(OOC: Obscurity takes 6 Cold Damage and is Slowed for ? rounds, so she can only take one standard or move action per round. She still has the mirror shard, but it is in her bag)

eek. She thinks as the cold numbs her limbs, what have I got myself into. She will try to tumble across the icy surface (tumble +17!) if that works.
