It's tied. You know for something that I did on a lark I can't believe how obsessed I've become with this. I can't wait until the vote closes. Then maybe the song will stop going around in my head while I'm trying to sleep.

Wombat's "When I'm Sixty-Four" deserves an honorable mention. The Beatles are requisite and this is a really fun gaming-related ditty. That said, the contest was to come up with lyrics which referred to EN World in-jokes.

Tinner's "We Didn't Start the Flamewar" is a terrific list of name, and a few cute references, and I still hold that Tinner chose the song that should have been the music for the best entry. Billy Joel's original was built for this task. Tinner, you did a great job, even more so than most of the great entries submitted, but I didn't make your list, so I vote third place.

Tough decision, but I believe that second place rightfully belongs to Drew for his "Hotel Eric Noah" entry. Cute, clever, true to the original song, and plenty of EN World references.

First place should rightfully go to me, since I'm the one issueing the totally unofficial decision which will later be over-ridden by actual votes, but as it would be a conflict of interest, and because two kind people already voted for me, and because mine was actually not the best entry, I say that first place goes to . . . *drumroll*

I admit to conscripting my gaming group to vote. I can morally accept that under the fact that I'm also bringing them to the wonders of ENWorld. Creating false accounts is just cheating and how sad is that just to win a filking contest?

I'm impressed with Tinner coming from behind to take the lead. If I hadn't entered myself he would have had my vote as he's stayed true to the original intent that Morrus posted.

I thought about using my powers for evil and then I figured that the contest was for people that did not have community supporter accounts that could not afford them. All the top three don't have supporter acounts. So I figured I would let it go, and the fact that it just would not be professional!
