Solange stabilizes any dying rogues, and says a quick prayer for those who have departed, "May Zephos guide ya on yer journy."

She then goes to check those looking over the woman with the jewelry. "Find anythin'? That it?"

Hoping to silence the escaping mage, Saithnar points his finger at him before saying in a commanding voice, "Freeze!" Letting loose another freezing ray at the mage's retreating form, he hopes to bring him down this time...

Whether or not the mage is now unconscious, Conuld approaches him cautiously, and says "If you do not want a dagger in your ribs, keep perfectly still." If he puts up no or feeble resistance, he gags the man with his own Blacklily scarf. "Does anyone have a piece of rope with which to bind his hands?" he asks. He asks Saithnar, "Help me get him back inside." If the mage is looking the worse for wear, he says "Solange, can you stop this one from dying?" That done, he will help the others in searching the bodies of each of the rogues.

Solange is able to cure only one of the rogues - the one lying in the doorway. The others are very much dead. The mage, of course, is drifting in and out of consciousness.

A quick search of the bodies reveals typical thief gear - weapons, thief tools, and blacklily scarves. The woman with the crossbow has some cheap jewelry (already mentioned) as well as a stoppered vial - a potion of some sort? The one that was killed by Solange's Dagger - "Carson"?- seems to carry another one of these potions, as well as a silver dagger and a beautiful silver brooch with a blacklily insignia. In total, the thieves have maybe 50 GP between them.

The mage has the more interesting of the gear. He carries several scrolls, obviously arcane in nature. He also holds a wand, another potion, and thirty gold pieces. he is quickly gagged, and bound.

Everyone notices that, for some reason or another, the streets are stangely empty...

Conuld is still agitated after the brief fight, but takes a few seconds to look over two of the scrolls. "I did not think to prepare Read Magic today," he says. "Without its aid, I cannot tell what spell is written here. Tommy, can you do better?" He passes them over. Holding the wand gingerly for a few seconds leaves him just as in the dark.

Cludge stows his greatsword (he may be an iconic dwarf some day, but for now he's still not an axe wielder ) and looks up at Pendrake. She'll not be botherin' ya any more lad, he says quietly. He moves to the woman and attempts to keep her alive (if she hasn't already crossed the EnWorphant's tusks).
He will then return to the main room and shale his head sadly. Thieves an' rogues they may be, but I'd feel a lot better if there was more o' them here ta face justice, he sighs.

pendrake also has 50 feet of rope that he pullsout and then ties up the woman that he faught with. after that he drags her into the commen room where the rest of the investigater gather.

knowing he was forced to the kitchen by magic, he speaks up, "Das frau, sneak up behind us she tried. Now she fit to be tied, ja?"He then checks for a pulse. To the shepherd he says, "Vith mein mace in the rips zey ver smashen." He then points to the caved in lungs on her side. as a further precaution he unties his peacebond on his sword.

"There are no guards out on the street," says Conuld. "Does this not strike you as odd? I do not think we can trust them, as Pendrake said. Do you feel yourself, Pendrake? The mage told you to go to the back room, and you went. Well, friends, we have another decision to make. We have killed or incapacitated seven Blacklilies, but no doubt there are more. And one mentioned the name Arimae! Do you think one of the women was their leader? The bartender, whom these thieves killed without a thought, mentioned Arch Street, so we know where we may find more of them. Tommy and I have cast about half of our spells, and Saithnar has used his power freely. My protective spell will last for almost an hour still, so I am willing to go on. Or we could regroup, rest until the morning, and have strict words with the mage - they called him Riffer, did they not? - when he wakes up. He is too important and dangerous to leave here. And he can lead us directly to the Blacklilies' hideout, especially if Saithnar makes him his friend, no? Whatever we do, I think we should swiftly gather the spoils of this fight, and leave - by the back door. Though these streets are empty, it is somehow an unfriendly emptiness."

"I could attempt to charm him, but being a mage his mind will be strong and resistant to my manipulations. I am not sure if it would function while he is unconscious either. He might need to be awakened first. If I do this though, my powers shall be done for the day though my protective field will last for the remainder of the hour. Do you all wish me to attempt charming him then, or should we find a safer place first? As for resting, while I would like to do so, was not the necklace supposed to be sold tonight? If so, we should not tarry long enough to rest." Saithnar says to the group before cocking his head sideways to listen to the heavy silence infecting the street.
