Weird how exhausted folks can charge.

Fatigued: A fatigued character can neither run nor charge and takes a –2 penalty to Strength and Dexterity...

Exhausted: An exhausted character moves at half speed and takes a –6 penalty to Strength and Dexterity...

So when you move from being Fatigued to Exhausted, you regain the ability to charge.

The other alternative (given the rules as written) is that you are BOTH Fatigued and Exhausted, which means you take a total of -8 to Strenghth and Dexterity.

Both options seem wonky to me.

Except that the -2 and -6 are both the same type of penalty, so don't stack.

Yep, I'd just add cannot run or charge to exhausted (that is, exhausted includes fatigued - or exhausted is as fatigued just that also your movement is halved and the penalty is -6 instead of -2).

Unamed penalties.

And there is no "common sense" clause in the rules as written unless you revert all the way back to rule zero :p

I was just pointing out something that could use an erratta - it's not like I play it that way.

Ki Ryn: If you ever thought I'd think you'd think you were right about this... ah well.

Has anyone the 3.0 rules around to see whether it's just a little shortening on the wrong position?
