What are you going to do with all your 3.x stuff?

What are you going to do with your 3E crap?

I have to agree with the people who are "buying it up like mad" or "storing it." It sure is cheap..a testament to it's value and utility...heh.

It costs more to bother to sell it than to pay the garbage man. For me to have to make the trip or dink around on ebay, I'm wasting my time.

3rd party stuff..oh jeez..good luck selling that "stuff."

Without using the word 'crap', I'm also going to be a lot more choosey when it comes to 4E purchases. The only non-'core I' books I maybe might think about considering is the 'core II' books. Otherwise, my Paizo subs are all I need.

I will keep all of my 3.x stuff. I do, indeed, sometimes still reference (or play) my 2E (and 1E and BECMX) stuff. I don't see how 3.x will be any different in that regard.

I see myself keeping it. I will get 4e and try to convert to it ASAP. But I won't force it on my players like I did 3.5 (which at first they were not too happy with). If 4e in the end is not as fun as 3.5e has been. I could see myself going back to 3.5e with house rules, or, go way back to 1e. 2e I still have it but never play it, and never refer back to it.

The Eberron stuff will be useful at the least. Since WotC won't release material for that campaign until '09 at least, I'll get good mileage out of that stuff. As for the rest, I voted not converting b/c with one group I won't be.

I'll probably end up keeping most of it like I did 2nd Ed. Partly for reference partly out of sentiment.

I got rid of most of my 3rd party stuff earlier this year though when I decided to clear out books that haven't seen use or interest in a long time. Pre-GenCon though.
