What DVDs do you throw in??

And DYDs that you just throw in when housecleaning or hanging out? Just a good, enjoyible movie or TV series that makes good background noise but doesn't have to be watched exclusively.

I've been using Firefly and Sports Night. I'd have them on while I'm writing and going through the boards.

Let's see sometimes I'll just toss Spider, X-Men, X2, Simpsons Season 1 & 2 or Pirates of the Carribean as background noise. Bascially dvd's I can enjoy even if I come in in the middle of them.

Well, see, there's in our house the "hangover avoidance movies". You come home pretty wasted, ready to pass out, but if you just crash into bed you KNOW you're going to pay for it tomorrow, so we sit on the couch swigging down the water in massive doses and watching:

The Mummy
Sleepy Hollow
Josie and the Pussycats
Blade II
Project A, Part II
The Scorpion King
Fallen Angels
Hercules (Disney)
The Emperor's New Groove

The upshot of which is, I know the beginning of those movies really well. Cause we usually pass out on the couch after an hour and wake up the next morning, hung over.

But we're optimists. We keep trying.

Hmmm, I always use music for the background noise, not dvds.

If I am putting on a movie or show, it is to watch it.

Never understood tv or movie as "background white noise", but I know people who do it...

I'm with Wombat, I don't watching things repeated so if I put it on it's because I want to watch it.

I also use music for backround noise, about the only time I don't is when I can't or I'm watching something.

I sometimes use movies for background noise, usually mindless action flicks.

I used to use the classic Star Wars movies on VHS, but no longer have a tape player. So, it's Ep 2 usually. Either that, or Resident Evil. Need more action flicks...

I checked and still I double posted, stupid boards!

maybe I should have hit reload like I meant to.

or, of course, my Tenchi Muyo DVD set. But that can annoy some of my friends.
