Man, the only thing on here I actually listen to is ska. But I picked rock/alternative/religious as well because that models most of what I listen in a very ugly fashion. But I'm needing some emo, metal, punk, hardcore, and indie options here man. Serious.

Ok, so you can have choices for Baroque, Choral, Chamber, and Orchestral but you can't have a choice for Rock and Metal?

Keep in mind that academics created that list. Baroque, Choral, Chamber, and Orchestral are seen by scholars as legitimately distinct classifications....whereas all rock is probably equally distasteful. :D ;)

My list: Alternative, Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop and Rap for the most part. With a bit of 50-60s, New Wave, some dance, some electronica (but not enough to really want to count it on the poll) music thrown in for "flava". :)

I'm one of the few over thirty year old rap fans out there. And I'm proud of that damn it!

Which is odd for a guy with the moniker "Devilbat" and that avy.... ;) I'd picture you more as a "headbanger" type of music guy.... ;)

I mostly listen to "old skool" rap with some Eminem and a few others thrown in.

And I listen to the "headbanger" stuff like diaglo.

I have varied musical tastes, but rather then include 80% of the listed options, I went with my favorite.

Old school rap is my favorite, but there's plenty of time for Metallica.

The monicker is left over from my Deadlands days.

I just purchased a 'best of' Moody Blues CD yesterday. Very good.

A couple months ago I picked up "The Moody Bluegrass" - a disc of different bluegrass artists putting their spin on Moody Blues songs. It was surprisingly good ('course I like bluegrass as it is, so YMMV :))
