Whats this ninja movie called?

I have been lookin for a movie involving those cool ninja's for ages now, until recently a friend suggested to use the forums' combined brainpower. So does anyone know the title of this film, probably from the end of the eighties:

It starts out by a japanese guy in cave, sliding away a rock only to find a complete ninja outfit. The somehow he gets to the states and starts killing people, I believe on a golf course. Gets surrounded by cops who start shootin him, falls dead but before he dies he gives his sword containing his spirit to a hot aerobics instructor. She on her turn completely flips out and starts killing people, I believe the cops who shot the original ninja in some weird act of revenge...

Any suggestions?

(Funny that of all the 80s icons, Sho Kosugi hasn't really had a come back. In his day, he was just as cool at Mr. T or Chuck Norris or Scott Baio. His son is on Ninja Warrior on G4 though.)

The really sad part is, I could have answered this without looking anything up...and I only saw the movie once, back in the late-eighties...and didn't think it was that good.

Indeed, I remember that movie.

My favorite ninja movie is The Last Ninja, with the dude from Warriors.
