Does anyone know what is up with Tor publishing webpage has not been updated in about a year. Reason I am asking is I recently started book 10 after a looong break from the series and I was just wondering when the next one was coming out, but I can't find any info at all.

Does anyone know anything at all about this?
Does anyone care at all about this?
Or am I just putting myself out to hang by admitting I read these books?

The next one is supposed to come out 1st or 2nd week of Jan. It's a prequel novel, so it probably takes place before the 1st one, and it was originally written up in a book of short stories collected from many different authors.

There has not been a date yet for book #11 in the series, but he is releasing a prequel titled "New Spring" on the 6th of January. If you would like more info check the link out below.

I wish he would finish the series before the prequel, but either way I am happy about it. But from what I have heard releasing this prequel has not slowed down his work on book 11 at all. I hope this helped.

A Prequel?! I was right, Jordan is actually writing so slow he's going backwards!

Somebody call me when he finally decides to write the Finale...if I'm still alive then...until then I'll move on to books that actually go somewere.

Stuff better happen in the prequel. I'll be pissed if it's another book that can be summed up in three words.

Book 10's summary being:
Egwene gets kidnapped.

Not really a spoiler there, it seems to happen every two books or so.

There's nothing wrong with liking WoT. Jordan's written eight really good novels so far. There is the minor difficult of the other two WoT novels, but I think WoT fans can decide that, like Star Trek V, neither The Path of Daggers nor Crossroads of Twilight really happened:).

Well, as a 100-page novella, New Spring was pretty good. I hope it doesn't lose too much in the expansion to a novel.

Agreed. Maybe he'll just add in a few "Moiraine takes a bath" scenes. :p
