Which New Major Character From The New Trilogy Do You Like Best?

I figure there's no reason to rate the new characters from Rogue One since they all died.






So, the question for this poll is: If you could only pick one, which new major character do you like best from the new trilogy?

BB-8, with Rey a close second.

Kylo Ren has lots of depth and I like how Adam Driver both does conflicted, but also lets out the hate-leads-to-anger dark side passion as these temper tantrum rages but at other times is collected like what light side training would instill.

Rey has a lot of depth as well and it's very easy to have empathy for her. She's a really tight #2 choice. I think KR just barely stole the #1 spot with this movie, she would have been #1 after just TFA.

BB-8 is hyper competent as well as funny with lots of personality - a good successor for R2.

I like Hux better in the first one. His portrayal seems inconsistent, not a matter of character growth.

Poe and Finn I both enjoyed a bit more in TFA, but I did enjoy them in TLJ as well. Just not my favorite-favorite.

I really have no feeling for Captain Phasma except that "oh look, she's got different armor and got dumped in a trash compactor". She's not a distinct character to me.

Jyn and Cassian didn't die at the end of Rogue One. Right as the blast was about to hit them, Mace Windu showed up and shielded them with the Force.

Rey is extremely charismatic, as are Finn and Kylo. I think I'd go Rey, Kylo, Finn.

I honestly like all the principle characters in the new trilogy.

Kylo. He is the only character with meaningful character development in the films so far, and after the TLJ, I am rooting for the First Order.

None of them. OK, that's not completely true. Rey has promise but took a step back with TLJ, imo. Darth Emo is annoying, but I do think this new twist of him wanting to go out on his own and kill the past is somewhat promising. Finn...still waiting for him to get interesting. Poe took a step forward in TLJ, but still is yet to really stand out.

After watching Inside Llewyn Davis, I can't help but think that Oscar Isaac hates playing Poe and, probably more so, Apocalypse.

I kind of like Poe's funny looking alien friend.

Rey is my favorite. Poe is a jerk and Finn is irrelevant. Kyle would be #2 for me. The Rey/Kylo story is the most intriguing so far.

Snoke would be third for me. I am interested in his back story.
