Yeah, I don't often do this, but I may from time to time - especially if a character has a fear of fire.
BTW - when character's start metagaming, like figuring out that they can swim in lava and do it because of metagaming, then the rules stop applying and they burn and die horriblyI've never actually have had to do that, but I would if anyone decided to do that, and it would most likely come up when someone decides to jump off a cliff to escape with "minor" injuries.
