[WOT Adventure] OOC Thread 2

I'm studying Electrical Engineering here in not-so-balmy Boston.

When I was an undergrad in Worcester, I thought that it was a bit warmer than home (Syracuse and later Buffalo). But I've lived in San Diego for almost a year now. And the La Jolla/Del Mar/University City area in San Diego has almost perfect weather. 60 and sunny for most of the winter; 75 and sunny for most of the summer; a few cloudy days (but not much rain) in spring and fall.

I myself love the weather in Mass. It seems incedably unpredictable, i get to complain all summer about the heat and humidity, and then all winter about the cold!:D

It's too bad your schooling takes up so much of your time, Dscrank,Boston is a gaming mecca compared to the cape.

You by your game supplies at Pandamonium?

I like the South. The weather here is nice, especially compared to Germany, which is where I lived last year. It was so cold, I had to wear long underwear from November to May. But then I come back and even the weather that is considered cold here is easy to get by in. Of course, it's been a mild winter too. Lots of insects this summer. Ah, the humidity...

The linguistics programs I'm considering are in Monterrey, CA. and Phoenix, AZ. As for Law School, I haven't decided where. Anywhere makes you a lawyer I guess.

I'd like to live in the Western US for at least a few years of my life.

Anybody else think having them stand outside the door to the building aiming into it is a bad idea? The target if they can even see it, should be 3/4ths to 4/5ths cover, the shot would have to go past the party, thats a few more difficult notches, then beat the targets Defense, he would need a natural 20. The odds on him hitting one of us are a lot greater, anybody else see a problem? If Shalimar gets shot by Jain, and survives, Jain wont.

Uh, yea it occured to me that it's a poor postition, but i've been reading the spycraft rules and Green arrow comic books. You know sometimes that over the top imagery gets stuck in the ol' brain pan, besides the -4 penalty for fireing into melee protects you guys from being the victoms of my grandious imaginings.:D

Well, I'm sort of hoping Jain will be shooting the folks outside who will be trying to keep us in. If there aren't any of those, we should be able to make a quick exit, and Jain can shoot anyone coming behind. There's a reason why Pedron's doing his best to avoid being drawn into the building.

I'm thinking that realistically, a guy in the street with a drawn (or even nocked bow) is gonna piss off a guardsman, or even a regular citizen. Andorans aren't meek...

I too am considering law school, though only in Chicago--which means Northwestern or Univ. of Chicago (on the off chance I can get into either), or Loyola. My girlfriend got into U of C's med school, early, which limits my options. I still got a year of undergrad after this though, so who knows?

So will guys hacking at each other with swords, and that's kind of hard to avoid. If Jain puts himself someplace where he can't be easily seen, maybe he won't be noticed.

All this talk of school is making me feel old. I haven't cracked open a text book in about 7 years.

Don't feel old, feel lucky that you don't have finals to study for. Though it's granted that you probably have a lot more important things to worry about as a bonafide adult.
