Yes. It’s a pretty big statement to make. Kind of needs clarification. Is it though? Is it really?
How does it affect your game?Yes. It’s a pretty big statement to make. Kind of needs clarification.
Can you keep the threadcrapping to yourself? How does it affect your game?
The OP quotes Morrus. Obviously the quote doesn't mean he is saying EnWorld is blacklisted, but it could look like that. And I believe the discussion is more generally about WotC having a blacklist.I'm confused at to why we're talking about ENWorld being on that list; I don't see anywhere where Morrus stated or even implied that they were. It feels like people are jumping to conclusions...
Why do you think that?It seems to be a current regime thing...
Because I remember when ENWorld got interviews and such, and Morrus has complained about the lack of communication from WotC before. I don't know when that stopped, because I was an irregular lurker for 12-15 years. Why do you think that?

I'm not sure what you are referring to here. Are you saying that Zak Smith and/or Satine Phoenix convinced WotC to blacklist EN World?
I can assure you that neither of those people were ever in a position to do that thing. But no, I (and ENW) have no relationship with WotC and have not had for several years.
Everyone should have a list, if you've worked long enough in any careerI don't keep an official blacklist, but I do have a list in my head of people I won't ever work with again.
The only list I have is "that vendor charges too much, find someone who charges less". Which isn't a blacklist as I will still use them if I can't find anyone else to buy from.Everyone should have a list, if you've worked long enough in any career![]()
I admit that I was being glib. I was referring to the fact that that are certain people or companies that I will never work with again. The only list I have is "that vendor charges too much, find someone who charges less". Which isn't a blacklist as I will still use them if I can't find anyone else to buy from.
There is no reality where the numbers of Level Up will ever seen like a threat to WoTC or D&D.Maybe they're threatened by Level Up.
I remember that the D&D team used to more involved in EnWorld; however, I believe that change occurred before the "current regime." I also don't know that they are on a blacklist either. Though I do find it interesting that EnWorld reports about D&D stuff, but doesn't get the interviews and early PR info that some sites do. So maybe it started with an earlier regime and has continued?Because I remember when ENWorld got interviews and such, and Morrus has complained about the lack of communication from WotC before. I don't know when that stopped, because I was an irregular lurker for 12-15 years.
