D&D 5E WotC has updated the Hadozee glide ability on DnDBeyond

FitzTheRuke

Legend
Glide. When you fall at least 10 feet above the ground, you can use your reaction to extend your skin membranes to glide horizontally a number of feet equal to your walking speed, and you take 0 damage from the fall. You determine the direction of the glide.

For reference, here's the old one.

Glide. If you are not incapacitated or wearing heavy armor, you can extend your skin membranes and glide. When you do so, you can perform the following aerial
maneuvers:
• You can move up to 5 feet horizontally for every 1 foot you descend in the air, at no movement cost to you.
• When you would take damage from a fall, you can use your reaction to reduce the fall’s damage to 0.
That's a lot better. Interesting to see that it lost the armor restriction. If you're incapacitated, you don't get a reaction anyway, so that's a wash.

I actually got it as a birthday present from my fiancé. It is the slip case in my shelf across from me as I am on my phone
Yea, but you didn't buy the D&D Beyond version, so you don't get errata as fast they do.

I'd also point out that you have the errata, it's literally in the first post of this thread. So the entire complaint is that D&D Beyond owners get notified of the errata slightly before the physical owners, and that's just not fair, even though you found out like 5 minutes after they did.
