Would you play a class with no special abilities?

Let's say there was a class that had

d12 HD
8 skill points
all good saves

But no special abilities whatsoever. Would you play such a class?

And a good BAB and all skills are class skills? I'd be up for it. His special ability would be that he's freakin' Batman. :)

How about the following:

D10 HD
8 Skill Points
Select 12 Class skills
2 Good Saves 1 Regular Save
Good BAB
Medium Armor (No Shields)
All Simple Weapons
1 Bonus Feat every 3 levels (Starting at 1st)

No, I wouldn't. With the maximum of 7 feats (possibly 8), you lack pretty much any versatility. There's a reason fighters get all those bonus feats.

Nope. Throw in good BAB, all skills as class skills, and faster feat progression, and I'm in.

Otherwise, I'd rather play a rogue for the 8 skill points. Who needs hit points when you have evasion? ;) Fort and Will saves can be augmented enough through other means that I wouldn't be willing to give up all the other goodies.

Like others have said, the BAB and skill list would determine my selection. The above is pretty good (even with 3/4 BAB and wussy skill selection), but not quiet good enough.

If it had full BAB and all skills as class skills, I'd totally do it. "I'm Batman!" indeed. :)

probably depends a bit on the supplements allowed. Skill tricks are nice. Or Iajitsu-Focus. There are so many options for skills out there that the heap of skill points can give you quite a lot of options, if they are allowed.
