(YBA) Gate to the Prison Planet :: Mewtwo enters the Gate

Mewtwo does his best to feel around the left wall. After a few minutes he realizes he can't tell which direction the entrance was.

It is dark. You are likely to be eaten by a Grue.

Mewtwo has now become completely lost. You feel the floor slanting downward towards some unknown destination... It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a Grue.
 

Mewtwo ignores the downsloping floor, heading swiftly around it, and if he knew what a Grue was, he probably would be a little more hasteful...he tries to be as silent as he can, trusting himself as he moves along the dark cavern.
 

A Grue is a monster from the old text-based Zork games. If you went undergroud without a light it would warn you about the Grue and then you would eventually get eaten....
 



Mewtwo finds that he has hit his head into the cave wall. The Grue is nowhere to be found. As Mewtwo's head spins he realizes that he is more lost than ever. Laying on the ground, he feels some sort of tunnel heading further down into the cave. it is large enough for a large person to fit through.
 


Mewtwo follows the tunnel down, careful not to knock his head against the roof.The tunnel continues to slope downward quite steeply. After about 20 minutes of steady (but careful) climbing Mewtwo notices that the air has grown hotter.

After walking for another 10 minutes the tunnel starts to straighten out and stay on level. Mewtwo sees a faint red glow ahead of him. He can't be sure it is real as his senses are still completely alienated from his surroundings.
