I'm considering a Holy Warrior of Tinel, Maal, Aymara or Naran. Wait, scratch that last one.

Pax; I played a character closely based on a Faithful Son in another RPG system not so long ago; lost my priestess in the first adventure, thanks to GM Ex Machina. Jolly good fun though.

Why don't we do this. While we wait for a DM, we'll keep a running order of who wants in. That way, when the DM says "I only want 4" (or 6 or whatever the number is), We'll have the list prepare, and everyone will know where they stand. How's that sound?

By the way, I'm not set in stone with that monk.If it looks like we have a lot of fighter types (looks like we might), I could easily go for a cleric, or possibly Avatar if allowed (from Green Ronin).

Hmmm... well... I like the sound of this, a LOT, and mainly because I was so sympathetic to d'Anconia's plight as he outlined it in the first post I did some research and the book sounds right up my alley. I would love to DM this game, sadly, I don't have the book and though I now feel as if I may get it, that may take a bit of time. Like, say, a couple of weeks. And then another month or so (since I'd need to actually read the thing, and digest it, and make a campaign from it, and I'm VERY busy right now even without such concerns) before I'd actually be ready to start. If you guys are prepared to wait that long, I think you've probably found yourselves a DM. Of course, you probably aren't. But anyway, I'm, here if you need me...

EDIT: Okay, so this post was rash. I really would like to DM this but in all probability I'm not going to have the time. I don't want to screw you guys around, so rather than keep stringing you along I feel I may as well withdraw my offer. Sign me up as an alternate, or a sixth player if the DM is willing to take that many. I sure do hope someone comes along who can actually DM this thing.

I would like to play, but don't have the BotR. Would it be accetable for me to construct a character using the core rules? I promise to keep it in the right flavor.
