Be the Apocalypse; Channel the Delta Green Handler’s Guide

You are a Handler, a GM, for agents, PCs, fighting to keep otherwordly terrors from destroying the world. But the world is doomed. It isn’t about victory, which is impossible, but about the fight, which is all that mankind has left in the Delta Green Handler's Guide.
New on EN5ider, the critically-acclaimed adventure path continues! In this thread, the party reacts to the surprise attacks by Zubov’s group. Zubov’s plan is to sow panic amongst the citizens of Flint by perpetrating various attacks throughout the city. By diverting resources away from the peace talks, Zubov hopes to launch a more direct attack on a newly opened subrail station, giving him access to a tunnel that passes near Hotel Aurum. A well-timed explosion will send the building tumbling down.
Dragonmeet is a small one-day convention in London. It's been a few years since I've been there, and while it's still small, it has certainly grown since my last visit. That said, it's one of those conventions which I hope stay small, as that gives it a certain charm and friendliness that can be hard to match with larger events. Here's a couple of things I found while at Dragonmeet this year.

Mythological Figures: Odysseus/Ulysses (5E)

In Mythological Figures today we’re headed after a person that is more popular in terms of ancient Western mythologies than probably anyone else: Odysseus/Ulysses!
Classic "Starter Traveller" is currently free at DriveThruRPG. This is an introductory version of the original "die in chargen" Traveller. Tech is as noted "1970's" style -- creator Marc Miller mentioned in conversation that imagining future technology was one of the harder things to do. Traveller is fairly gritty sci-fi like from the movies Alien or Outland.

Worlds of Design: “I Hate Dice Games”

When I first saw D&D, I was in my Diplomacy playing phase. That’s a game with no dice, no chance mechanisms at all, but with lots of uncertainty owing to 7 players and simultaneous movement (which can involve guessing enemy intentions). I said, “I hate dice games” and that was it. But not long after (mid-1975), I played D&D at a game convention and loved the possibilities despite the dice.
I have been experimenting with the idea of one-page adventures designed for a single session, with everything on one side of one sheet of paper. The Business of Emotion was an early EN5ider adventure by Paul Oklesh, and this is that adventure converted to the one-page format. I figured I'd share it with you guys. You will need the core rules for NPC/creature stat blocks. You can see it as an image below, or grab the PDF for free over on the Patreon (you don't need to be a patron).

How I Escaped the Panic Room: A Broken Mind Review

My wife recently surprised me with an escape room outing for my birthday. It gave me an appreciation for the basics of how escape rooms work and how they can be applied to tabletop role-play.

Leveling Up with Travis Legge! From the Slarecian Vault to Freelancer for Onyx Path’s Scarred Lands

I met Travis Legge, one of the most prolific individuals in tabletop gaming today, when I interviewed CJ Hurtt about Glimpse the Beyond 2e (written by CJ, developed by Travis and published through his Aegis Studios). Since then I’ve been friends with Travis and seen the number of games he creates (over 300 entries on DriveThruRPG). Recently, Travis announced that, after crafting community content through Onyx Path Publishing’s Slarecian Vault, he’s achieved what many creators aim for when he was asked to freelance on an official OPP Scarred Lands product. What follows are Travis’ thoughts on what he’s done to get to where he’s at and what’s next for him.

RPG Crowdfunding News 123: TALOC: MAYAN, Become, Never Tell Me the Odds, Crystal Heart, SotDL: Occul

For my second “RPG Crowdfunding News” article on EN World, I look at games based on webcomics, movie quotes, expansions to gaming lines, and more. RPGs that run on Savage Worlds, Mutant: Year Zero, Shadow of the Demon Lord, Powered by the Apocalypse/Dungeon World, and original engines. That said, it’s difficult to cover all of the games on Kickstarter or Indiegogo, and some of them were omitted like Modern: Book of Elves, Canitaurs & Felitaurs, and How Orcus Stole Christmas!, among others. That said, all of these crowdfunding campaigns are worth reading to see what’s coming in 2019.

Plunging the Depths of Degenesis' Black Atlantic

Black Atlantic is an adventure. Black Atlantic is a regional sourcebook. Black Atlantic is the third adventure in a trilogy, ending a long connected story arc in a glossy, full-color pursuit of a powerful weapon. It is not necessary to have played the previous two hardcover adventures. In Thy Blood or The Killing Game. However, Black Atlantic will spoil the overall story if you have not the played them.
Two Dungeons & Dragons books have popped up on Amazon, published by Ten Speed Press, who are the same people who produced the recent Art & Arcana book which has been lauded widely. Both are 112 pages, and have a recommended age of 8-12 years.
