I am reinventing this thread as a place to put cool names of the Mystic class that you like. Maybe later, if a good list of names comes up, it is worthwhile to set up a vote.

(Heh. I now know, when setting up a poll, the creator must complete everything within 10 minutes or lose it.)

Eh, there's easy stuff like "mentalist" or "mesmerist" or "jedi," but how about we not mince words:

I'm a 7th level "class that only exists because nerds have a problem making a magic-using class that can cover all the bases."

I mean, I know there's tradition and all, but it'd be nice if there was a class that gave you the option of leveled spell slots, persistent abilities that require concentration, warlock-style "use a whole bunch" powers, and so on.

Psion. Something generic that works for mind powers seems best. I always picture a Mystic as dealing with magical powers rather than mental powers.
