A more serious reply to my MFK answer before.
Rules Cyclopedia: Childhood sweetheart. You pine over what you had, but calling her up would be awkward and probably ruin the memory with a hearty dose of reality.
AD&D 1e: The girl you never met, then heard some nasty rumors about. Others recall her fondly, you wonder what the big deal was.
AD&D 2e: The Prom Date. You had some good times and some rough times. You still visit and you're still friends, but you're sure nothing good could come of banging her senseless.
D&D 3e/3.5: Your main girl. She's been with you all along, but the relationship gets complected. She gets demanding. She's difficult to predict. However, you've done so much together its almost too comfortable to let go, and you really do love her when its all said and done.
D&D 4e: The girl who seems to be a lot of fun and kinda a free spirit; adventuresome and fresh. You're attracted to her vitality and spontaneity, but after a while, find she's not as deep as your last girl and you wonder if its really worth getting attached.
M: 3e. F: 4e (maybe a drunk one-nighter with 2e) K: 1e. Fantasize about: RC.
