I dunno. I'm struggling a bit with trying to work out when to post. I don't think I've stuffed it up, yet.... Current turn for Caden might be a bit premature, but it's simple enough and at least eblue will have something to work with while I'm sleeping.

I believe Stick or Roithe could make a move, Caden and Mialucus have gone, and Rashka is last just like the round before.

So far, you guys are doing great! For this combat, I've been holding onto what I said in the first post. Essentially, 1st initiative order (that I rolled at the beginning of combat) will be used for the 1st round, then it will go as follows:

All players > All monsters > All players > All Monsters, etc.

I left it up to you guys (talking in the OOC thread) to figure out who wants to go first, then second and so on.

If all of you would like, I can go with a strict, initiative order posting, where everyone (including monsters) must post with a specific order for the next combat round, and we can see what happens then. Please let me know if this is what you guys want. After all, this game is about all of you

I like what we have going on, the only addition I would ask is that coordinates are given for anyone who has moved since the last map update in the status update.

So I don't accidentally stand in the same square as someone else...

That's not a bad idea, and it would clear up some of the "teleportation" I have to do during round updates.

Fred, Cheub, Legildur, and renau1g, do you guys have any suggestions about initiatives?

I enjoy the individual initiatives, but that is dependent on everyone posting in a timely manner or using predictive turns in anticipation of what might be the situation.

Rhun has some/lots experience in running games here, so I would value his opinion.

I agree Legildur. I'm reading up on some of his ideas and incorporating them into my own adventures. You'll see some more of those pop up when you guys start the dungeon crawl.

Also, I should have another mini-status update up soon, probably tonight.
