D&D 5E Great Weapon Master

How's this feat for giving Longsword weilders some love:

Sword Master:
You have mastered the use of longswords -
1. Gain +2 bonus to AC when wielding only a Longsword and no other weapon or shield.
2. Your attacks with a longsword do 1d10 damage instead of 1d8.
3. You can elect to suffer a -3 to hit in exchange for +6 to damage.

Too overpowered? It seems in line with other feats - what do you think?

Couple quick ideas:

-longswords gain the finesse property
- +1 bonus to AC instead of +2

Kind of curious what would have happened if GWM had been printed as:
You get Cleave and Weapon Expertise +1 to hit/+1 damage with heavy weapons (or just plain +2 damage).

On paper that looks like a feat tax. It meets certain criteria, a feat that helps the 'do more damage' style do more damage.

Hmmm. I don't think I'd use it in my game, but it doesn't seem overpowered to me either. It's basically +1 to damage for longswords and a half-scale power attack at the cost of a feat. If one of my players were desperate to play a longsword guy I'd let him have it; otherwise I would keep it out of my game just to avoid feat clutter.

If that were it, it would be boring and I would hate it. It's just a flat effect, and it's a weak effect, with absolutely nothing interesting about it except the fact that I don't know what Cleave is (but I assume you're referring to the "bonus attack on crit or kill" aspect of GWM).
