Star Wars Saga/D&D 5th Hybrid [OOC/Rolls]

Yes sorry I NPC you last round. This Gand was thinking about knocking you prone BUT as I had you take the Dodge action it was redundant.

If you waited until after Jihahna then the bomb has just gone off.

Kacela is the only person left to react, and you have your full set of Actions that you can take. You are with 16 meters of Uthall the Sith Sergeant and 30 meters of the Sith Troopers in the tunnel. You are also 60 meters away from the Battle Droid and 72 meters from the first group of Sith Troopers. The first group of sith troopers are all prone.

16 meters is too far to close all the way in, I believe. But perhaps I could play some trickery.

Second Wind is a bonus action?

Yes Second Wind is a bonus action (and as Forge Fury said you have to be at or less then 1/2 your HP total) AND you do have Surge also ;)

GreenKarl: I'd suggest changing the "root" talent of the Soldier's Armor Specialist Talent Tree from Armored Defense to Second Skin and making the latter a prerequisite for Armored Defense. The benefit of Armored Defense doesn't really come online until later levels, particularly if you are wearing good light armor or medium armor. Since a Soldier can automatically pick up a combat jumpsuit (ARS13) or a set of scout armor (ARS 14) at 1st level, they are probably going to already have an ARS equal to or higher than their Heroic Class bonus for several levels, which means the talent is probably going to be wasted. Even if they don't pick up scout armor, any light armor better than a Blast Helmet/Vest or Battleframe is going to have an ARS equal to or superior than their heroic bonus until Level 5. It starts to shine at 13th level or so, when the Heroic Bonus from armor goes to +5. By then, however, they may have already taken the Improved Armor Defense Talent, which replaces the benefits of the earlier talent and makes it even more of a talent tax, to use 3rd Edition D&D parlance.

Second skin, on the other hand, is a generic and universal bonus that benefits anyone wearing armor. By swapping it out, you give that basic bonus to armor specialists as the intro talent. Having the basic, useful bonus front-loaded may also incentive the PC in branching their talents out.[/sblock]

You know I was TOTALLY thinking about this the other day and just never got around to working it out... Let me look at it today and I will probably chance as you suggested...

Here are my thoughts on it... what do you all think?

Armor Mastery: When wearing medium armor, you can add up to 3, rather than 2, to your Reflex defense, if you have a Dexterity or Intelligence bonus of 16 or higher. Also when wearing Heavy Armor you can now add 1 to your Reflex Defense if your Dexterity or Intelligence is 12 or higher. Finally, while wearing light and medium armor doesn’t impose Disadvantage on your Dexterity (Stealth) check (if it normally would). Prerequisite: Armor Defense.
Armor Defense: When calculating your Reflex Defense, you may add either your Heroic level bonus or the Armor Reflex Score that you are wearing, whichever is greater. You must be proficient with the armor that you are wearing to gain this benefit.
Improved Armored Defense: When calculating your Reflex Defense, you may add ½ your Heroic bonus (round down) + the Armor Reflex Score, or your Heroic bonus, whichever is higher. You must be proficient with the armor that you are wearing to gain the benefit. Prerequisite: Armored Defense.
Juggernaut: While you are wearing heavy armor, any bludgeoning, weapon energy, piercing, and slashing damage that you take is reduced by 4 points. Prerequisite: Armored Defense, wearing heavy armor.
Second Skin: While wearing armor that you are proficient with, your armor bonus to Armor Reflex Score and equipment bonus to your Fortitude Equipment Defense are each increased by +1.
