Magen Brigward
Fighter 2

Round 3:

Seeing enemies charging out of the homestead Magen charges forward, "Brigward!" he yells as a battle cry. He slings his crossbow over his shoulder and raises his shield as he charges. Closing with one of the riders barging straight into and it knocking it prone. He draws his sword and hacks at the downed beast.

[SBLOCK=Actions and Rolls]
Move: Toward one of the riders
Action: Dash
Bonus Action: Shield bash
Action Surge: Attack
Shield bash (opposed roll): 1D20+5 = [17]+5 = 22
Attack goblin rider: 1D20+5 = [12]+5 = 17
1D8+3 = [1]+3 = 4

Possible advantage on attack goblin rider: 1D20+5 = [4]+5 = 9

The shield bash is strictly a contested roll, but given the high roll I've written it as though it succeed, if it isn't I'll edit later.

EDIT: Also 24-7 is 17 :P or did I miss some other damage.

Hunter Brightwood

Hunter grimaces as the wolves’ bites land. Falling backwards Hunter grunts as he hits the ground but quickly jumps to his feet.

Singing a discordant melody that only the wolf he had struck could hear Hunter grinned, before he shouted to Corwin, “Death to these foul beasts!”

OOC:

So, Hunter is knocked prone, uses half his speed to stand up cast Dissonant Whispers against the wolf that he previously hit, (wolf 5) as his action and as a bonus action grants Corwin a Bardic Inspiration dice, 1d6.

Strength check one: 1d20-1 3
Strength check 2: 1d20-1 5

Dissonant Whisper Damage on fail, half on success: 3d6 12 Target must make wisdom saving throw against DC 13 or take 3d6 psychic damage and must immediately use its reaction, if available to move as far as its speed allows. On successful save it takes half as much damage and does not move.

Current HP Thanks to Shara 18 (7+11)
Spell Slots remaining 2 1st level
Bardic Inspiration 2 uses remaining

Lucious' progress toward the fight was slow going but his march was unwavering. Determination in each step and every motion fluid and deliberate. A swirl of his hand transfers his hex to a new victim and as his palm opens a green ray fires at a goblin archer.

OOC: MA: Move 30ft
BA: Move Hex (Str)
AA: Eldritch Blast Eldritch Blast: 1d20+4 15
Eldritch Blast+Hex Damage: 1d10+1d6 6

Wolves, goblins, it was a fight. He hadn't been in one of those for a good while and it was showing in his slow reactions. Finally he caught up and he worked his magic arcane words and gestures as tiny beads of force flew from the space in front of him at the closest wolf, hopefully ripping what was left of it to shreds. He kept with the more warrior like Magen who had been so far keeping the older mage safe from the beasts and goblins.

OOC: Casting Magic Missile: [roll0]

Corwin races to Hunter’s side and catches one of the wolves with a quick but deadly stab, causing the wolf to howl in pain and snare at him. Lucious moves up to behind the pair and blasts the same one with a greenish bolt. Magen charged the goblin archers on the left and slam his shield into one knocking it prone. He then stabbed it on the ground, killing it! Shara raced forward and calling on her divine powers healed Hunter as the bard stood and tried to use his magic to panic the wounded wolf. The beast’s resolve was great through and it only suffered some mental anguish from the bard’s magic. Mikel started following Magen and blasted one of the wolves before the knight with a trio of glowing bolts that caused the beast to yip in pain.

The goblin on the back of the black wolf near the knight dropped its bow and drawing its scimitar like blade stabbed Magen in the shoulder and staggering the knight. The other two archers shot at Lucious and both arrows, while deflected by the warlock’s mail armor still caused him some pain. Then then urged there wolves to the south of the group, circling around and closing in on Mikel!!! Those wolves on Megan bite at him wildly but only one managed to dart past the knight’s defense to cause him a minor wound, but also to knock him a bit off balance. The last wolves bite at Corwin but missed, while Hunter suffered another bite that he felt through his armor and also threatened to knock him off his feet!!!

GM: Initiative
Goblins and Corwin 19
Lucious - 17
Black Wolves - 14
Magen - 12
Shara - 7
Hunter - 6
Mikel - 5

[sblock=Rolls]Corwin hits Wolf #5 for 9 points of damage (bring it down to 14 HP)
Lucious hit Goblin Archer #1 for 6 points of damage (bring it down to 3 HP)
Magen Dashed and took Action Surge to attack Goblin Archer #3. It contested vs. Dex (Acrobatics) or Str (Athletics), opponent’s choice, he can only succeed with a natural 20, so Dex (acrobatics) check: 1D20+2 = [18]+2 = 20, oh close but no. Falls prone, and follow up attack (with advantage) kills him!!!
Shara moves forward and heals Hunter 11 points (bring him up to 18 HP)
Hunter stands for ½ his move and casts a spell on Wolf #5, Wis saving throw: 1D20+1 = [20]+1 = 21, oh natural 20, so it takes 6 damage (bring it down to 8 HP) and does not move.
Mikel moves 30ft to follow Magen and fires Magic Missile at the Wolf #3 for 8 damage (bring it down to 20HP)

Badguys,
Goblin #1 & #2 shots at Lucious (kill the mage first), Attack and damage if it hits: 1D20+4 = [14]+4 = 18; 1D6+2 = [5]+2 = 7
1D20+4 = [13]+4 = 17; 1D6+2 = [2]+2 = 4
, both should hit for 7 and 4 damage (bring him down to 13 HP)
Goblin 3 dead
Goblin 4 drops his bow and draw his scimitar to attack Magen, with advantage because of the Wolf he is riding “Pack Tactics”, Attack (with advantage), damage if he hits: 2D20.HIGH(1)+4 = [19, 20]+4 = 24; 1D6+2 = [4]+2 = 6, oh critical, extra critical damage: 1D6 = [5] = 5, ow for 11 points of damage (bring him down to 6 HP)

Black Wolf #1 & 2 bites at Magen (with advantage), Attack (with advantage), damage if he hits: 2D20.HIGH(1)+3 = [2, 11]+3 = 14; 1D8+1 = [2]+1 = 3
2D20.HIGH(1)+3 = [1, 18]+3 = 21; 1D8+1 = [1]+1 = 2
, one hit for 2 points of damage (bringing Megan down to 4 HP!!!) and Megan needs to make a Strength saving throw vs. DC 11 or be knocked prone.
Black Wolf #3 moves 50ft to be somewhat behind where Lucious was standing.
Black Wolf #4 moves 50ft to be somewhat behind where Lucious was standing.
Black Wolf #5 moves 5ft around Corwin and bites at him, Attack and damage if it hits: 1D20+3 = [4]+3 = 7; 1D8+1 = [1]+1 = 2, miss!
Black Wolf #6 shifts 5ft around Hunter and bites at him, Attack and damage if it hits: 1D20+3 = [14]+3 = 17; 1D8+1 = [8]+1 = 9, hit for 9 points of damage (bringing Hunter down to 9 HP) and Hunter needs to make a Strength saving throw vs. DC 11 or be knocked prone.

Then it is the hero’s Actions (Round 4). Rolls, moves, etc.
Remember Corwin has a +1d6 Bardic die bonus this round[/sblock]

[sblock=Conditions]Corwin 18/18 HP
Hunter 9/20 HP
Lucious 13/24 HP
Magen 4/24 HP
Mikel 10/16 HP
Shara 22/22 HP

Goblin Archer 1 – 3/9 HP
Goblin Archer 2 – 9/9 HP
Goblin Archer 3 – dead
Goblin Archer 4 – 9/9 HP (in melee with Magen)
Black Wolf 1 – 19/28 HP
Black Wolf 2 – 28/28 HP
Black Wolf 3 – 20/28 HP (in melee with Magen)
Black Wolf 4 – 28/28 HP (in melee with Magen)
Black Wolf 5 – 8/28 HP (in melee with Corwin)
Black Wolf 6 – 28/28 HP (in melee with Hunter)[/sblock]

Positions...
Hunter and Corwin is 40ft from the old homestead in melee with two riderless wolves (they have moved to opposite sides of the pair).
Lucious and Shara are just behind them (not in melee maybe 5ft behind).
Megan is 40ft to the left and in melee with two wolves and a goblin
Mikal is 30ft behind him.
The other two goblin wolf riders are now 40ft behind the group and 30ft behind Mikal

Shara starts running toward Magen, but once she gets about halfway to him, she realizes she can't get there in time to heal him. Instead, she calls out a spell to heal what wounds she can from where she stands, and then implores Pelor for aid...

OOC: Can't get to Magen for Cure Wounds in one move, so: Moving 15 feet toward him, casting Healing Word on him as a Bonus action, then using Channel Divinity - Radiance of the Dawn. She'll move the other 15 feet toward him after that (but still end up 10 feet away).

So: every enemy within 30 feet of Shara (the two wolves fighting Hunter and Corwin, the two wolves and goblin fighting Magen) needs to make a DC13 con save. They take 2d10+2 radiant dmg on fail, half as much on save. Rolls:

Healing Word: 1D4+3 = [2]+3 = 5

Radiance of the Dawn: 2D10+2 = [8, 4]+2 = 14

Edit: Decided to go ahead and roll their con saves so you guys could see the current stats on your enemies and make decisions accordingly. I'm assuming that con saves happened in the order that I listed the enemies above. So: Hunter's wolf, Corwin's wolf, Magen's wolves, Magen's goblin.

Radiance con saves: 1D20+1 = [18]+1 = 19
1D20+1 = [7]+1 = 8
1D20+1 = [4]+1 = 5
1D20+1 = [1]+1 = 2
1D20 = [6] = 6

Which means their current HPs (as of this post) are:

Goblin Archer 4 – dead (in melee with Magen)
Black Wolf 3 – 6/28 HP (in melee with Magen)
Black Wolf 4 – 14/28 HP (in melee with Magen)
Black Wolf 5 – dead (in melee with Corwin)
Black Wolf 6 – 21/28 HP (in melee with Hunter)

Hunter Brightwood

Gritting his teeth as the wolf’s bite landed once again, Hunter muttered a swear under his breath. Staring into the eyes of the wolf in front of him, Hunter once again sings a discordant melody that only this new wolf can hear.

OOC:
Hunter made his STR check and was not knocked prone.
Strength Check: 1D20 -1 = [17]-1 = 16

Hunter then tries Dissonant Whisper on wolf six.
Dissonant Whisper Damage on fail, half on success: 3D6 = [5, 2, 3] = 10
Target must make wisdom saving throw against DC 13 or take 3d6 psychic damage and must immediately use its reaction, if available to move as far as its speed allows. On successful save it takes half as much damage and does not move.

If wolf runs away Hunter moves 30 feet towards Magen and Shara, if wolf does not run Hunter stays put.

Magen Brigward
Fighter 2

Round 4:

Magen fell back under the flurry of blows from his attackers, then a brilliant flash of light sent them cringing back. It have Magen the respite he needed, crouching behind his shield he regained his composure before stepping in, sword raised and slashing at the injured wolf.
