12 years old! Judging from the old responses... news of the horrible 2009 version of Land of the Lost had not yet proliferated. Now the under 30 crowd is probably painfully aware of it.

I doubt most of my players would... they're all way younger than I these days. And the few I've had old enough had generally either missed it, hated it, or feigned ignorance of it.

Makes me wonder how much influence it had on the Droyne sourcebook for Traveller....

This is awesome, thanks for the necro! I've been struggling to find inspiration for the Cinxi (lizardfolk) from the 3.5E version of Caverns of Thracia, and Sleestaks are perfect.

I haven't, but that's a heck of a fun idea. Frankly, I'm surprised that WotC didn't make a nod in that direction in XPH.

The Forgotten Realms pretty much has the Altrusian/Sleestak thing going on with the setting's current lizardfolk being descended from an advanced, ancient reptilian race. I forget what the ancient race is called . . .

In one of the basic D&D modules that are loosely tied to the Mystara setting, there is an advanced, ancient race of reptilians known as carnifex that are locked away in an interdimensional prison.
