D&D 5E OP Cantrip?

My apologies for my poor phrasing, the fact that other casters will often have a free bonus action was irrelevant. My point was that even if it only occurs on Dragon Sorcerers, Firebolt + a good shot at blinding an opponent seems a touch too strong for someone to be able to do without expending resources. If we did want to consider other classes using it though, it can't be taken via Magic Initiate but it is only a one level dip in to Sorcerer to take it that way which could be an added bonus for casters that were already planning to dip for Metamagic, proficiency in Con saves, ect. Still probably not game breaking though, so maybe allow it if your player has their heart set on it and isn't likely to optimize this character to the limit.

Well no one's taking it or using it. I could make it a DM exclusive so it won't pop up to often.

Compare to Vicious Mockery, which requires an action to cast and and a save and only grants disadvantage on one attack (with some middling damage to boot).

At the bare minimum it shouldn't be a bonus action.

Yeah it scales though. The bonus action casting is the thing that puts it over the top.

It's really powerful even as an action, but its extremely cooperative nature is what makes me think it would be a fun support cantrip. Bonus action puts it way over the top.

It is OP IMO. Bonus action or not, a lot of creatures have poor DEX saves and with that you can grant yourself and your allies advantage on attacking it until your next turn.

I would compare it to a feature like Warding Flare.

Warding Flare (Domain of Light feature)
Range 30 feet
Reaction
No save to resist
Applies disadvantage on one attack
Usable up to 5 times per long rest

OP Cantrip
Range ???
Bonus action
Allows DEX save to resist
Disadvantage on all attacks until start of caster's next turn
Advantage on attacks against until start of caster's next turn
Usable every round

Yep, to me seems pretty OP.
