A lot of it is, certainly. I'm more just curious why one wouldn't just play 3.x/PF if they were seeking those things, rather than trying to make 5e into 3.x/PF. It's not like there's a dearth of material available for the 3.x/PF rulesets that isn't still easy to come by. I mean sure, new and shiny is appealing, but there's just so much STUFF for 3.x/PF...all the stuff many are craving for 5e....which means those seeking it would probably get more from playing 3.x/PF than 5e.
It's not a curiosity born of any desire for conflict mind you. One wants what one wants. If that's all it is, that makes enough sense for me...it's just straight up curiosity.![]()
Because 5E is a far superior system, and those few items are not conclusive with 'just playing 3.x/PF'
but would be a nice addition if one wanted to make 5E 'advanced'
