I really like Pathfinder Second Edition's modular character design for Pathfinder Second Edition. D&D 5e makes a good entry into the hobby because outside of a few classes like Wizard (that should probably have starting spell allotments based on specialty) it is easy to just make a couple of decisions and get on with the playing.

Unsurprisingly because they work equally for every class and don’t require you to make any decisions at all. As much as I love decision points in character building, I recognize that most players would rather just pick a thing and have it work without having to weigh a bunch of options.
Once I intended to make a Variant Human because brother in law was DMimg and was emphasizing that Feats were on the table (per usual, nobody took any Feats). I rolled all odd numbers for stats, so a Feat was extremely suboptimal to getting a +1 on every stat.

I like customizability with no bad options so no matter want you will do fine

I'e always felt that what you're asking for is literally the hardest thing in game design. It's almost impossible to have "no bad options".
how hard is it to not test the options find the bad ones then not include them in the release?
Especially when you consider that which options are "bad" often depends on what you want to do with it. Not to mention, some people will think they're bad, even when they're not.
that is a problem but if it works is fun and is not messed up then how is it bad?

Apparently pretty hard, as just about every game that has options includes some that are often considered bad, including every edition of D&D.
I assume they did not test properly or just were apathetic to it.
I think you'll find that almost every option that the community has declared as "bad" can fit your criteria of "works and is fun". Many of them are still bad, though. See how hard it is?
examples please I am unable to see your point?
