D&D General "Red Orc" American Indians and "Yellow Orc" Mongolians in D&D

Cats are obligate carnivores - they must eat meat in order to survive. Some of the nutrients they need are not found in plants at all.

If the mind flayer needs to eat brains in order to survive, what choice does it have - be evil or willfully choose to die of malnutirion?

Given that cats are evil ... I'm not sure that's the best example.

Cats are not, in fact, evil. Many of the behaviors folks use to claim they are come from putting the cat in an environment that isn't reasonably suited to it. Basically, if you expect a cat to be a dog, you will have problems, yes, but they are hardly the cat's fault, as they aren't the ones with the thumbs in the relationship.

Wasn't there a movie where a group of vampires were trying to create synthetic blood? I mean it was mostly because they were running out of humans, but I'm sure there are opportunities to cultivate and create "vegan" cuisine that sustains mindflayers.

Blade I think and True Blood come to mind. Mind flayers are a bit different it's not the flesh of brains that sustains them but the psychic power.

They can physically eat animal brains but they won't sustain them.

I think it’s impossible to prevent any possible attack.
The only position is to make DnD as respectable as other major actors in the Fantasy-Entertainment market.

We do as much as Marvel studio, and they will say that they make as effort as Disney, who finally answer that they do no worst than DnD.
