Loki Season 2 Discussion - Spoilers

Fair. I just think it's interesting that they specifically went with McDonald's instead of a made-up clone, you know? But then they put Dairy Queen in the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 movie, so maybe they like to make it more authentic by including real world brands when they can.
yeah I'd assume a product placement deal, McDs is big enough to demand royalties but Dairy Queen doesnt have the same global reach.

Seeing a menacing Loki willing to do nasty things was good to see, I dont like his desperate needy side :o

Product placement means the company is paying for the placement, not getting royalties for it.
Exactly. It's advertising for the product and the reverse is true. Disney is large enough that they could get a company like McDonalds to pay for product placement.

2 episodes and not bad so far

Good seeing Loki being Loki. Probably my favorite parts of the show so far was the alley stuff

I’m confused on what is exactly happening.
yeah the blowing up of the timelines has entirely changed things from what was happening with the Ouroboros expand the loom narrative. Im confused too but if they manage to weave the threads together into something I will be impressed

While Dox and her crew pruned a bunch of timelines, I think more will start springing up.

This may just be Disney/Marvel's way of saying "yes, there are other timelines, but no, the number is no longer infinite." I would be alright with this season reducing "infinite" to maybe 10 or 20 stable and known timelines. This also has the potential to make most of the Kangs at the end of Quantumania to cease existing and leave it at a more manageable number to have to deal with in future movies.
