Well yeah. Follow your bliss. Talk to your friends and fellow gamers about the things you enjoy.I feel the same way. Maybe I should be talking about Level Up more...
Depends if your party is playing casters or martials.that is what I thought, some spells for the most part, I doubt that compensates for the weapon masteries which are constantly being used
Graze is simple. They had a simple weapon mastery that just changed the damage dice. Playtesters screamed how it was inferior to others and it got pulled. Once again, the fans prove that simplicity is not as big a draw as they claim it is.
To have a budget, you need to be popular.I'm sure Morrus would market more widely if he had WotC's marketing budget. Where do you see RPGS that aren't D&D marketed?
chicken and egg…To have a budget, you need to be popular.
Other TTRPGs just need to get some hard core fans for a few decades, be on the edge of bankruptcy, and then sell their IP to a big toy company.chicken and egg…
FFG was sold to Asmodee.Other TTRPGs just need to get some hard core fans for a few decades, be on the edge of bankruptcy, and then sell their IP to a big toy company.
Oh, it had an effect. Asmodee forced FFG to change their card sleeves in an easily detectable way, which led to me never buying any more of their sleeves - or their games.FFG was sold to Asmodee.
It does not seem to have had an effect.
I feel like that and the organizational changes are the biggest improvements and the rule changes are mostly treading waterBut that wasn't an exhaustive list. A lot of things are more clearly worded.
Ditto.I feel the same way. Maybe I should be talking about Level Up more...
How many people are needed for something to be popular? There has to be threshold number where a game goes from being known only by a few to where it's known by millions. D&D crossed that threshold a long time ago. Ditto for Pathfinder and for every other well-known RPG.To have a budget, you need to be popular.
