D&D (2024) +Caster Single Target Damage+

If you had 2 features that said "once per turn when you hit you can add damage", would you only be able to use one of them?

If the features were the same feature yes; one time per turn. For example if I have a Fighter 1/Rogue 1 and get Nick on a dagger from both classes I can not use Nick twice in one turn because I have it two instances of it which each allow me to make "one" extra attack. When I get to fighter 9/Rogue 1 I also can't use Dagger-Nick from being a Rogue on the same attack I use Dagger-Sap from being a fighter.

But besides this you are also talking about two different versions of Extra Attack and this is covered under multiclassing.

From the 2014 PHB:
If you gain the Extra Attack class feature from more than one class, the features don’t add together.

From the 2024 PHB:
If you gain the Extra Attack feature from more than one class, the features don’t stack.

So the Extra Attack feature from the Bladesinger does not stack with the Extra Attack feature from the Valor Bard or for that matter the higher level features of Fighters.

Paladin 6 / Moon Druid 6 / Bladesinger 3 + Warcaster.

Proficiency + Con + Cha + Wis + Int + Advantage to concentration checks.
The PC can avoid concentration altogether if they have time and gold to prepare with Glyph of Warding. Spell Glyphs last their duration regardless of concentration and there's no stipulation against using buff spells.

An example would be a Haste Glyph the caster sets to trigger on themself for another attack. Or for adding in Fount of Moonlight. Or both.

Glyph of Warding is a shenanigans spell because it can be used with prep to bypass the concentration restrictions on a Spell Glyph.

I hadn't really paid attention to Glyph of Warding but you're sure right! Wow, I can see placing buttons on your clothing for different spells you've stored, triggering with a touch and password. It doesn't just bypass concentration, but it bypasses spell slots since you're using a prior days spell slots. It basically creates one-shot items. A dimension door cast into one is an emergency escape item. You can cast all sorts of situational spells as needed, simply making them in your off hours. It does have a costly component though. But not that costly.

Good call.

Oh sure, but I thought his goal was to theoretically push Damage Per Round
Racial options don’t really add significant damage per round outside true strike. They can sometimes add some nice burst damage or movement abilities though.

Might need to specify if 2014 stuff is allowed.

Valor Bard 6/Bladesinger6 has a lot of * starting with does that combo even work and it's not that viable level 1-11.

Valor bards the S tier of bards anyway. Dance is C.

It’s interesting to me that sorcerers are probably the worst full caster at prolonged single target damage now, especially in the 1-10 level range.

Bards arent great either but magical secrets can easily solve the problem.

A couple of sorcerer subclasses eventually get a summon spell that will help with single target damage.

Sorcerers are nova damage vs dpr. Or play control.
