“Heroes make their mark on a postapocalyptic [sic] world defiled by magic and forsaken by the gods.”Since too many are insisting that WotC wants to forget about Dark Sun, what do they mention of Athas in the DMG?

wasn’t it WotC that was insisting on that? Not sure what to make of it, it is a curiosity… here’s to hoping there will be a setting book for itSince too many are insisting that WotC wants to forget about Dark Sun, what do they mention of Athas in the DMG?
It was Kyle Brink stating he felt it didn't seem likely at the time...but, times change.wasn’t it WotC that was insisting on that? Not sure what to make if it, it is a curiosity… here’s to hoping there will be a setting book for it
I'm not very far in yet, but I already feel seen on a number of levels (not least because they made a reference to forever DMs).I've played and run games for decades.... And this DMG is a useful reminder of so many things. I wish I'd had it decades ago. Well written, easy to understand, useful.
Their game, their choice. Maybe people for whom it's NOT their game should just get over it.If you're going to make the game that different over four editions (which is not common for TTRPGs), maybe they should consider not continuing to call it Dungeons & Dragons.
And wasn't it someone like Justice Ramin Arman who stated they want to give Dark Sun a shot, if they had the chance. It was Kyle Brink stating he felt it didn't seem likely at the time...but, times change.
