Too bad, if that is the case. She doesn’t seem to like fanfic either, but in my opinion if you can’t handle your fanbase adding to or making stuff, don’t put it out in the public.I've heard Rowling doesn't approve of RPGs.

I think you can do MtG magic in 5e, you just need to be willing to sacrifice some D&D sacred cows.On a positive note, I’d like to have a Redwall campaign style game. Not necessarily Bloomburrow, but something with anthro races build from the ground up and not trying to convert MtG to D&D (I was very disappointed with Strixhaven trying to shoehorn MtGs magic system to D&D).
I feel that D&D "Vancian" magic is the ultimate bolt-on system and probably the easiest to replace conceptually, but requiring a lot of work.I think you can do MtG magic in 5e, you just need to be willing to sacrifice some D&D sacred cows.
I feel like there was a Princess Bride RPG on Kickstarter back at the dawn of the site. But I certainly haven't heard a peep about it since.Of the IPs that have crossed with Magic the Gathering already I would be excited for:
Princes Bride
Evil Dead
Why should I have to? I'd rather have something that uses D&D system than trying to fight against it.I think you can do MtG magic in 5e, you just need to be willing to sacrifice some D&D sacred cows.
5e already has several magic systems, so I then it can be done using the system and not fighting. However, if you want to keep the feel of MtG magic you need to do some work. I don't think that is such a wild concept. Why should I have to? I'd rather have something that uses D&D system than trying to fight against it.
