D&D 5E [IC] Creamsteak's Princes of Elemental Evil

OOC: Surprise round dent moved and marked. Round 1 dent was in melee with a target and both Damien and Dent killed that bandit. Round 2 was what I just resolved Damien and Dent's actions for, and then I continued from the top with other character's round 3 actions. Enemies have only acted two times. Since Damien and Dent act after the enemies, you are right in that your next action is your round 3 action, after the hypothetical Reaver/Bandits. If I am following everything.

OOC: OK, it was my understanding that we were using the new consolidated initiative system. If that's not the case, my bad. Although if it isn't the case, I don't think Dent could attack in Round 2. He wouldn't have the movement to get to the Reaver and he still isn't close to Toran.

OOC: At the end of Round 1, I specified that Dent moved to K13 if the bandit was killed. Ot at least I thought I did.

You did, but he was killed after Damien's action, not your own.

We are not using that system yet. And Sorry, I didn't consider if Dent would have enough movement, as I'm away from my map. One reason I "should" have a copy around before updates, but I was trying to move forward a bit.

OOC: I was trying to move closer to the river but maybe it doesn't matter anymore: I think he's in G23, but it's not on the map.[/occ]

Carradoc targets one of the accompanying soldiers, and fires a chilling blast as a spectral and reaches out to grab it by its throat.

OOC: Target: soldier in G6
to hit: [roll0]
if successful, damage: [roll1].

Carradoc: The restrained soldier is struck for 4 damage.

Bandits: Both bandits fail to escape. The bandit flanking Tolan attacks, but fails to land any meaningful blow.

Reaver: The reaver also fails all manner of progress at harming Tolan. One strike almost hits at best.

Dent closed the gap on his quarry and swung.

OOC: This post assumes that the marked Reaver is still marked and that Dent does not need to use his bonus action to mark a new target. I couldn't quite tell from the map whether the original marked Reaver is dead (I think he isn't). Move:20' to L9. Action: Attack with longsword, and apply hunter's mark. I'm recycling my rolls from up above. Reaction: Fighting Style (Protection) to defend Tolan. Protection applies if Dent is within 5' of Tolan, and confers disadvantage on attack rolls against Tolan. I hope that can be done as a reaction, anyway.

Longsword- (1d20+6)[12] for damage- (1d8+4)[12], plus hunter's mark damage- (1d6)[2]
