So, I did Jihahna first with this, but now that I've worked out how I'm doing everything, I think I can now get everyone else done with greater efficiency. For convenience sake, objects like the blaster rifle, I'll just use the same model and give it a different colour scheme. Otherwise though... Pre-actual animation course, this is as far as I think I can go with regards to mimicking the RWBY look. It's not as pretty as I'd have liked (vs RWBY), buut my brain is saying I can't really dawdle anymore on it and I need to get the other characters done.
Again, the figure and head are already pre-built, but I'm not at the stage where I can make a figure from scratch. That'll come next year. I just want to get into the animation process itself really for now, explore the fun of it. . The cybernetic arm is from SWTOR It's an HK arm. In story I'd pictured Jihahna's arm as pretty much salvaged from a scrapyard, so I thought, why not say the arm converted for cybernetic use was from an old HK unit? What could possibly go wrong?
Oh, about the music. Alas! the song, whilst downloadable in .ogg format, still didn't have audio separated. The cymbal noise was blended into everything, so though you could reduce it, you lost the, I guess "Thickness" of the rest of the song. It's a shame I couldn't get an original copy of the soundtrack to play with.
I did however create an edit which cuts out the first 10 secs and then extends the songs chorus. Towards the end, some time after 1:20, I was able to loop it back to the 52 second mark. I think it's undetectable, buuut, that could just be me....
Anyway's, hope everyone else is well.
