D&D 5E (IC) Vault of the Dracolich (Dispensables)

Drako drops the pew and charges into the room stepping out of the hallway to clear rooms for others.

OOC:

Drako dashes into the room, I don’t see the grid numbers on my computer, but I think I have enough movement to run through the doors and make a quick left to stand just below the opening to the passageway.

Beyond the skeletons, the room appears to be partitioned with a series of softwood screens depicting skeletal dragons laying waste to a countryside. The room has a vaulted ceiling with a depiction of naked humanoids murdering others with a variety of weapons, in faded flaking ancient paint.
 

Lorenn get closer and climbs on a bench to get a visual. Then when a target is in sight, casts a firebolt to a skeleton but seeing his comrads rushing into melee, he deviates his shot to avoid friendly fire.

OOC:
Initiative: 1D20+3 = [4]+3 = 7


Movement: 30 ft toward the room.
Action: Cast Firebolt on skeleton, miss with 6 (hum...it was deliberate...)

Arrows fly through the open door and hits Bob, Terrus and Pyrus. An ambush!
Sesto rushes forward towards the door and stops when he sees 5 Skeleton with bows drawn. Sesto holds up his shield with Lathander's holy symbol so all the skeleton can see it and speaks a short prayer to vanquish the undead. Begone, you foul beasts of horror!

OOC: Initiative in Chamber of Preparation: 1D20+1 = [10]+1 = 11
Move: 30 ft to get as close to the skeletons as possible. If I estimated the distance correctly then I will have all skeletons within 30 ft.
Action: Channel Divinity: Destroy Undead (CR 0.5); Creature within 30 feet that can see or hear me must make a Wis save (DC15). If it fails, then it is instantly destroyed, else unaffected.
Alternate Action (if not within 30 ft of skeletons): Dash 30 ft, which will bring me in the vicinity (15 ft radius) of as many skeletons as possible (or other nasty surprises that may pop out from behind the screen) to maximise effect of the Spirit Guardian spell.

Pyrus launches a fiery energy beam at the closest skeleton, and Terrus charges in, arrows deep in his shoulder.

OOC: Pyrus: DC 14 dex Save or take [roll0] fire damage.
Terrus: Attack [roll1] Damage [roll2]

Location: Chamber of Preparation

Encounter: Skeletons, Silakul, and his Flesh Golem

Round One

When Pyrus opened the door, everyone rushed toward it. Torbin saw Bobranthus smash a skeleton, laughing while two other skeletons threw down their bows and drew swords. Those two surrounded Bob, hacking at him while he bashed at them. The other two skeletons fired arrows down the hall and one hit Torbin in the leg, while the other got Terrus in the shoulder, joining another arrow already there. The stony Genasi grunted and rushed forward, swinging his sword.

Suddenly, the wooden partition banged open and a tall creature, like a man made from stitched-together body parts, groaned and rushed out, slamming into Bob, who let out a loud guffaw with the impact. The now-open partition revealed a bedchamber beyond, and a middle-aged bald man rose from his chair at a desk, yelling into a sending stone, "The ward did not hold! They are here now! Send men to me!"

The stone could be heard to reply, "We are nearly through the door. Should be faster than going around, but I will send some, anyway. We have some on the old obelisk, as well."

Drako and Sesto rushed past him, surrounded by Angels and Torbin could feel the warmth of Lathander's Light ease the pain of the arrow in his leg. "Come on, Lorenn!" he yelled to his friend, and ducked as the half-elf sent a bolt of fire over his head, "They will breach the door soon!

He turned and saw the bald man, who must be the cult leader, Silakul waved a hand absently and conjured a floating flail between Bob and Sesto; the flying weapon swung it's spiky ball down at the cleric, who failed to get his shield up in time.

GM: Sesto's Angels will activate next round (because no bad guy has started it's turn in or moved into the area, but they will.) Unless he fails concentration, I'm afraid. Don't fail!

Drako takes careful aim and fires two beams of force at the skeleton in the corner of the room.

OOC:

Fires EB at S1
Assuming 15 hit and two eldritch blast beams at level five. Added an extra d10 for the crit. So I made some assumptions adjust as neccesarry.

EB1: 1d20+6 15
EB 2: 1d20+6 26
EB 1 damage: 1d10+4 13
EB2 with crit: 2d10+4 11
