OOC: It seems someone flayed the flesh off some adventurers, and made their bones into skeletons and their flesh into a golem. A golem can't be harmed except by magical means. And it can take most of that, too.

Sesto falters briefly as the magical flail strikes him but he recovers quickly without loosing concentration. Sesto holds out his mace and a streak of lights leaves his hands and to strike the strange bundle of flesh. The flesh golem is enveloped in a dim glittering light.

OOC: Con save to maintain Concentration (Advantage): 2D20.HIGH(1)+2 = [9, 3]+2 = 11 Pass, just!
Guiding Bolt with Damage: 1D20+7 = [5]+7 = 12, 4D6 = [1, 6, 5, 4] = 16; Next attack roll made against this target before the end of Sesto's next turn has advantage, thanks to the mystical dim light glittering on the target until then.

OOC: I am having fun playing the Angels. It's strange, because I usually find summoned creatures annoying (which these aren't, and yet I've made them act like it). They are evocative. BTW, you didn't get to use CD.

Encounter: Skeletons Silakul and his Flesh Golem

Round Two

Torbin began to worry as he watched Bob's mighty blows slam down on the creature made of flesh - with no apparent result (beyond a slap-slap noise). He ran into the room and shot the first skeleton he saw, his arrow lodged into the eye socket, and the bones tumbled to the ground.

Lathander's angels flew around the room. One smote a skeleton to dust, with nothing remaining, while others harried the last two skeletons until Drako finished them off with some well-placed bolts of force. Their bones tumbled to the ground. Another angel ran it's sword of light into the flesh creature, which howelled in pain, a strange gurgling sound.

"It's a golem! Weapons have little to no effect, but it can be harmed with magic!" yelled Lorenn, confirming Torbin's suspicion. The half-elf summoned a rolling ball of flames, which rammed into the creature, burning it, and catching fire to the softwood partition. Sesto sent a beam of light at the golem, which burnt it's putrid flesh and left it glowing with Lathander's holy light.

Terrus pushed his way through the partition and swung his sword at Silakul, the bald cultist, catching him in the arm. Pyrus sent fire hurtling past his brother and set the cultist's robe alight. In response, Silakul cast a spell, summoning small skeletal dragons, which flew around him, biting at Terrus' flesh.

GM: The Flesh Golem is still glowing from Sesto's Guiding Bolt. The next attack against it gets advantage. Seeing as Bob & Torbin can't even hurt it, I recommend they hold off for Drako to use the Advantage for an Eldritch Blast or something bigger. S'up to you.

Let's find out if Booming Blade can beat his magical resistance. Lorenn rushes into melee and makes his tricky fencing move to slip through the Flesh Golem's defenses.

There is the loud sound of crashing pews and splintering wood echoing down the hall.

OOC: The ward may not effect the cultists (though it might the mercenaries) and the door does not appear to have a lock.
