Okay, this topic came up in a different thread discussing the book, so I decided to make a thread out of it!

The idea is simple, as shown in the title. Post your 3 favorite pieces of art from Fizban's Treasury of Dragons, as well as 3 that you dislike (or perhaps just don't like as much as the others).

I'll start. My favorite are the following 3 (in no particular order):

This will be hard, I love the Gold Dragon art, the Great Wyrms art, the Ancient Dragon Turtle art, Sapharre Dragon art, the Faerie Dragon art, the Dragon Blessed, and a ton more.

Least favourite is crystal Dragons, Deep Dragons (horrible retcon), and some of the Draconians and Champion of..., art.

I really like the weird Gem dragon look. The flying shards are cool to me.

I'm actually pleasently surprised. The Crystal Dragon is a bit of a miss for me for sure, but the Emerald and Topaz I liked. Like, water colour? I dont know, I'm not an artist.

Topaz Dragon on Page 222
Black Dragon on Page 57

The Gem Dragonborn on Page 11 dont work for me at all, and while I like the art (page 10) for some of the MTG stuff, I dont like that they reused those assets on principle.

I don't like any dragonborn arts except the chromatic one. They just so ugly. I still wondering why they don't reuse those art on MtG cards. Those dragonborn art are far greater than anything 5e have for dragonborn.

I have to say that the crystal dragon art really disappointed me (and it matters because they are an important part of the Yoon-Suin setting).

Same here. I'm more okay with reprinting subclasses than art for some weird reason

Because this one was almost in my top three favorite pieces of art in the whole book. It looks freaking awesome!

I love this new dragonborn with hair likr frills and tails.... I just don't like reusing MTG art, even more so for this f'n trap card in R/B draft

if the cave monster dragon is a crystal dragon I kinda like less majestic and more alien but clearly dragon.
