Yup I thought VB S1 was OK, season 2 hot damn.
Season 1 started to pick up as it went along - the second half is definitely better than the first half - but you're right - this second season is right up there with the best of the best SW. (As an aside, I note that our own Keisha Castle-Hughes is voicing that Imperial doctor with the high-tech glasses. Nice to hear an actual Kiwi accent on the show - Baker's clone accent sounds more Australian, and for some reason I can't fathom, Kiwi Michelle Ang's accent for Omega sounds even more Australian.)

I don’t think they’re supposed to fight it. They’re supposed to tame and ride it.

This harks back to the very first episode, when Din was struggling to tame Kuiil's blurrg, and Kuiil comments: "You are a Mandalorian. Your ancestors rode the great mythosaur. Surely you can ride this young foal."

Boba riding the rancor could be seen as a bit of foreshadowing as well.

Current Star Wars seems to like the creature riding bit. Bad Batch with the rancor riding, Mandalorian with the blurrg riding (and tale of the Mythosaur riding), Book of Boba Fett with rancor riding, and Tales of the Jedi with the raxshir riding… I can absolutely see either Mando or Grogu riding the mythosaur…

Yes. It's pretty obvious somebody is gonna ride that mythosaur. The only question is who it will be. I don't think it will be Grogu. It's a toss-up between Din and Bo-Katan. So far Bo's the only one who's seen it.

It's big enough for everyone to ride!

But what if there are lots of mythosaurs? Mythosaurs for everyone! The mandalorians from the trailer have one each and ride them in an assault against an imperial base!! Do it fast enough and they could get in before Dune Part II comes out!!!
