And here we go, Narthrax, from Reaper's Bones line, is complete. I might have to name this dragon Valarie and use her as a D&D villain.

Let me show you what a difference a filter can make. Here’s a Zombicide monster I applied Army Painter speed paint to.

Here is that same mini after and application of oil wash. I mixed a red with a dab of black and a liberal amount of odorless spirits.

I am surprised by how radically the skin color was altered. It no longer appears sickly green but is a little more like a normal(ish) flesh tone.

I've gotten a 3d printer a couple months ago, and plunged back into a hobby I had put on hold 2 decades ago. I'm loving it. I wasn't too bad at painting miniatures back then (though nowhere near as good as many others) but I feel like I've actually become better even now.
Here's a few of my recent works.

I've come.to learn oil washes, too. They tie the qhole paintjob together, especially if the subject is "grimdark".
