Trailer Lanterns | Official Teaser | HBO Max

Hard Travelin' Heroes is one of the most beloved comic book runs of all time and was just that. It'll be fine, especially since the trailer clearly implies something requiring superpowers is happening there, unless people in small towns are just slicing through part of their town on their own.

You saved me the trouble of making the same two points.

Maybe Manheim and Intergang have some (hopefully non-Apocalypse) weaponry, and are working through lesser minion members to corrupt a small town as an experiment. Or maybe it's the latest LexTech.

The bar for quality writing for movies and TV has fallen so far, that almost anything is an improvement. (Insert pessimistic comment here)

Looks intriguing, but also looks like it has unnecessary language for no other reason than Gunn never grew out of being a teenage boy and thinking bad language makes him seem cool.

Unnecessary language (if they include it in a trailer, that means it's probably going to be a lot worse in the actual show) really is a turn off for me, as is anything that doesn't add to the plot or story but just tossed in because they want it "more adult" (which to me just makes it far more juvenile instead...sort of like what PM season 1 was...juvenile. Unfortunately a lot of people seem to like that approach).

Grown ups swear, my dude.

It doesn't make them anymore appealing or professional, in general.

Teenagers swear too. Doesn't mean that makes them all grown up or more interesting.

Little kids swear also. Normally in copycatting adults. The irony is that these shows swear like little kids swear thinking it makes them seem more adult, when in truth, it must makes the show seem more juvenile to those who already have enough of that type of stuff in their life already.
