You and I may have a different definition of Cranky.I feel like Coast City might disagree. You'll need a Ouija board to ask them about it, though.

Yeah I watched JL Unlimited, thats pretty much where all my knowledge of John Stewart comes from. The only other version I've seen is the terrible Ryan Reynolds movie. Green Laterns always been a bit of a secondary character for me, behind the big four of Sups, Batman, WW and Flash and far less interesting than Maritan Manhunter or even Green Arrow.Justice League Unlimited featured a lot of John Stewart.
so there's a few GL animated movies, one is emerald knights which is an anthology of various GLs, then there's Green Lantern: First Flight which is about Hal Jordon, the most recent animated movie for GL is Green Lantern: Beware My Power which features John Stewart.Yeah I watched JL Unlimited, thats pretty much where all my knowledge of John Stewart comes from. Outside Hal Jordan, the other Lanterns probably rank in the B team with the likes of Captain Atom, Blue Beetle and Dr Fate.
I keep hoping for an adaptation of Justice League Dark so the likes of Doctor Fate, Deadman, The Phantom Stranger, and Zatana can get their due. Ironically, it's something that would actually work with the Zack Snider treatment where the main line supes really don't, in my opinion.Yeah I watched JL Unlimited, thats pretty much where all my knowledge of John Stewart comes from. I've only seen bits of it, but it's definitely on my "to be watched."The animated movie JL: Dark is pretty good
The team name is 1990s "Justice League Extreme" levels of cringeworthy, though. The animated movie JL: Dark is pretty good
That's in the regular comics. I like the idea that they train their successor while they are still alive and in the role rather than the ring choosing someone local and them having to find their way to Oa to get trained. It always seemed rather convoluted, and is really why Hal is the way he is.Killowog is supposed to be in charge of training...
Worried about the squirrel when there's Gorrt?
Worried about a small town when there are criminal governments (not naming names in this forum) allowed to go unpunished? I guess they're Okay if they have UN recognition...
It tracks. Hal doesn't really acknowledge Guy very much and everyone hates Guy.Hmm. Does this predate Guy Gardner putting on the ring or has Hal decided to memory hole his original alternate?
To me, the best superhero media have been the ones where they use a different genre, with good writers, and go with that over a straight superhero show. Trying to make a comic into a movie doesn't really work as well for me most of the time, especially because it's not going to be the same because of the change in medium.I feel like every new superhero show is trying out a different genre. Worked for Wonder Man, and this teaser has me interested.
