I was just wondering if there is any set formula for doubling damage on crits. We have a Warblade that has Battle Leader's Charge (+10 damage on a charge) and Leading the Charge (+10 damage on a charge). If he crits, does he double the 2 +10s?

NPC wizard casts Hold Person on our level 7 Warblade. He gets a 24 on his Will save, and is told he failed. Next person in initiative is an NPC Rogue, who CdGs him, killing him. ...stupid DM.

From what I understand, a level 10 Fighter would be a CR10 Mob. How does the CR change when he has equipment worth up to the total amount of gold a level 10 character would have?

I'm a big fan of 2-Handed weapons with Crusader, especially if you have a lot of starting stat points. Go Dwarf, stats would be 19 str, 12 dex, 20 con, 18 int, 10 wis, 6 cha.

I would have to say no. If it's an RP problem, give the person an opportunity to RP it back. If you want to allow good assassins, thats your perogative. However, by the rules, no, you can't continue in a PrC if you don't meet the prereqs.

This is no judgment at all of your decision to use it, but I absolutely hate the idea of CdG. Hate it. That situation was entirely avoidable by simply having the guards attack him and to a ton of damage. Hopefully the party catches up the next turn, and he gets another saving throw. But yeah...

There is one from Dragon magazine, though its a rare DM in my experience that allows any of those. There is also Shadowblade from Tome of Battle that allows you to add dex to damage when in a stance using a prefered weapon.
