GSL & software support for 3rd party publications

Actually, PCGen was d20 STL compliant for a while, but we dropped it so we could offer the random roller again. TMK, Herol Lab does follow the d20 STL.

    Captain America returns... kinda

I also thought the backstory they gave in explaining how Bucky is alive was well done. And now that , I'm anxiously waiting to see how they continue his story line.

    Stardust

When I saw a trailer for the movie last year, I borrowed the book from the library. I liked both book and movie. I did think that the book was better than the movie, but the movie was a reasonably close adaptation of the book.

Dragon Wars (D-Wars) DVD - what was I thinking?

I got it from Netflix, and gave it a 2 out of 5. I liked the battle in downtown LA, and appreciated the fact that Fate was maintained. However, I found the plot and dialogue rather weak. I didn't think the CGI was to bad though, especially considering it was, IIRC, that studio's first go.

    Forking the OGL

Then what would you call the SRD, RSRD, MSRD, Unearthed Arcana and d20 Weapons Locker if not published under the OGL?

    Combat and Campaign Mgmt tools

If you have java installed on your computer, PCGen should work. I don't have Vista, so can't say for certain.

    E-Tools Question

While I'm also involved with PCGen, if you can use Excel on your computer, there's The Only Sheet as well. I think Crystal Ball is still around...that was, IIRC, a Mac only application.

Here we are, born to be kings, we're the princes of the universe

There was a d10 RPG, I believe called Immortal, where you had numerous past lives. You could gain experience (say in Kung Fu) if you forced a flash back. There were problems with past lives trying to gain control of the physical body though. And in these flashbacks, you could relive the past...

Movie Challenge - $300 Million USD = A new Epic franchise.

If they do one, I'd rather see The Honor of the Queen. I'd love to see Nimitz in a killing rage. :)

    Stardust

I Netflixed it rather recently, and really enjoyed the movie. I had read the book once I saw a trailer to see what the story was about (hadn't read it before). I think the book was better (as I usually do), but thought both mediums were well done.

Movie Challenge - $300 Million USD = A new Epic franchise.

I've only read Weber's HH work (main series and some of the supplementals). Not read any of his other works...yet.

Movie Challenge - $300 Million USD = A new Epic franchise.

Honor Harrington (ok, so its probably more than 3 movies because of the number of books in the main series). :) Dresden Files Last Legionary series by Douglas Hill - granted, this series isn't that large, so you could probably get away with two movies.

    National Treasure 2

I saw it last night with some friends. I thougth it was as well done as the first. I enjoyed the history that was given in the movie, and humor just had me laughing. I would definitely recommend this movie.

Why do people tag Heinlein as a . . .

*chuckle* That's probably the best description for severa adaptations I've seen. Unfortunately, I don't think anyone'll be honest enough to use it. :)
