I guess what I'm really trying to grasp here is the significance of having a Con score. Constructs don't have one because their bodies are not controlled or limited by organs or sinew. Hacking half way through a golem's arm does not lessen its effectiveness. Undead don't have Con scores for...

I really have to look at each setting on a case-by-case basis. I don't think I could say, "I'm looking for such-and-such in a campaign setting," because I don't work that way. I usually don't go looking for a specific sort of setting, I look at the settings I know are out there and find things...

Would it really mess things up if undead had Con scores? My understanding is that there are some monsters in MM3 that use their Charisma for bonus hit points. Why not just give 'em a constitution? They have bodies (most of them), some undead are tougher than others, the old PsiHB had undead...

Why don't they just give undead Constitution scores and be done with it? Undead use Charisma for Concentration checks. 3.0 Undead Psions used Charisma for Psychokinesis. Now they use Charisma for HP too. What's the deal with Charisma, seriously?

Planescape's Sigil is built on the inside of a ring. On clear days, you can look up and see across to the opposite side of the ring. The inside of the ring is a bit concave, the "ground" does curve like a halfpipe, but it is definitely a ring. Lord knows what Wizards have done to Sigil since then.
